Limited Lifetime Warranty

  • Your Drive brand product is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original consumer purchaser.
  • This device was built to exacting standards and carefully inspected prior to shipment. This Lifetime Limited Warranty is an expression of our confidence in the materials and workmanship of our products and our assurance to the consumer of years of dependable service.
  • In the event of a defect covered by this warranty, we will, at our option, repair or replace the device.
  • This warranty does not cover device failure due to owner misuse or negligence, or normal wear and tear. The warranty does not extend to non-durable components, such as rubber accessories, casters, and grips, which are subject to normal wear and need periodic replacement.

Peace of Mind Protection Plan

Drive and ActiveCare branded power mobility products are designed to withstand the rigors of daily use and include a comprehensive limited warranty to ensure years of service.

We offer a limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser for the frame on your Drive and ActiveCare Mobility scooter. We also include a fourteen (14) month limited warranty for the drive train components (transaxle, motor, wiring harness, and brake) and six (6) months warranty on the battery. This warranty does not extend to purchasers of used equipment. The limited warranty does not cover labor charges.

Should you have any problems, you can be assured that we will see to it that any technical or service issues will be remedied promptly and completely.

Our new Peace of Mind Product Protection Plan begins March 15, 2012. Effective for up to14 months from date of purchase, Drive will repair, service or replace product - or product components - due to mechanical and electrical breakdowns or defects in material and workmanship. The plan is required for all residential deliveries of Drive and ActiveCare branded power mobility products.

Using the Plan

To use the Peace of Mind Product Protection Plan, follow these simple steps:

  • Have the model, serial number, date of purchase and the name of the dealer ready

When speaking to the service technician, they will evaluate the situation with the product and take necessary steps to remedy the problem.

These solutions may include, but are not limited to, shipment of an easy-to-install replacement part, service by an authorized service technician or service at our facility.

* Damage resulting from neglect, misuse, and failure to follow manufacturers' instructions or normal wear and tear (tires, fabric/upholstery, bearings, ABS plastic shrouds, footrests, fuses, bulbs, bumpers, aesthetics, etc.) are excluded from coverage. Coverage also excludes battery or charger installation or maintenance service.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

 In addition to our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, Escali also guarantees most of its products against defects in material and workmanship in the product under normal use with a limited lifetime warranty for consumer scales and 1-year warranty for professional scales.

Please save your receipt. You will need this when making a warranty claim or inquiry.

You are solely responsible for failure of the product which results from misapplication, alteration or abuse of the product, and Escali assumes no liability as to the consequence of such events under the terms of the warranty. The warranty does not cover damage to the product due to inadequate maintenance, normal wear and tear or unauthorized modification. While Escali has made every reasonable effort to provide clear and accurate technical information about the application of the product, Escali assumes no liability for any events arising out of the use or inability to use this technical information.

Other important notes to consider:

The display value on your scale may be affected by electromagnetic disturbances from other electronic equipment that operate near your scale, such as radios, microwaves, cell phones etc. If this occurs, move the device that is causing the disturbance and turn the scale off and restart.

Make sure your scale is at normal room temperature. If your scale is not at normal room temperature, please wait several hours before using it.

Only use your scale on a firm, flat and stable horizontal surface. Bathroom scales in particular are not recommended for use on carpeted, rubber, or other soft surfaces. Using digital scales on such surfaces may cause inaccurate readings.

Escali scales are precision instruments, and should be taken care of as such.

 

EZ Access


3 Year Limited Warranty

 1. EZ-ACCESS, a division of Homecare Products, Inc., (herein referred to as Manufacturer), warrants that the equipment shall be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 3-years from the date of original purchase. This limited warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is nontransferable. This limited warranty is applicable to defective metal structure components only (excludes powder coated finish, applied non-skid tread, etc.) No part of this warranty will apply to any equipment which has been subject to misuse, vandalism, negligence, alteration, improper loads, accident, improper installation, or which has been repaired outside Manufacturer’s place of business in any way as in the reasonable judgment of Manufacturer, to adversely affect its performance and reliability, nor to normal deterioration due to wear, tear and exposure, corrosion, or damage caused by rain, fire, earthquake or other natural causes or acts of nature

2. Manufacturer’s obligation and purchaser’s sole remedy under this warranty is limited to, at Manufacturer’s option, repairing or replacing equipment which is returned to its place of business and which, upon examination, shall disclose to Manufacturer’s reasonable satisfaction to have been defective. Manufacturer will make the repair or replacement of defective components at its own expense. If Purchaser discovers a defect, he/she must call manufacturer at 253-249-1101 to request a Return Authorization (RA) to return the merchandise to Manufacturer.

3. If Manufacturer determines, in its sole discretion, to replace the equipment with either a new or repaired unit, purchaser shall be responsible for a charge prorated on the following basis: The purchaser will be allowed a credit against the purchase price of equivalent equipment at the time of return to Manufacturer, in proportion to the percentage of the warranted service life remaining at the time of such return. Purchaser will be responsible to pay the balance of the purchase price of equivalent equipment. Manufacturer reserves the right to require payment prior to delivery of the repaired/replaced equipment. In calculating available credit, the remaining warranted service life will be rounded up or down to the nearest whole year. YEARS 0-1: Unit repaired or replaced; YEARS 1-2: Repair or 50% $ credit (current purchase price multiplied by credit percentage); YEARS 2-3: Repair or 25% $ credit (current purchase price multiplied by credit percentage). This limited warranty does not cover removal or reinstallation. Manufacturer reserves the right to require Purchaser to pay for all shipping charges (Government Purchases exempt).

4. Disclaimer: the warranties and remedies contained herein are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including any liability arising under any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, statutory or otherwise. However, that if any implied warranty cannot be disclaimed in any territory where a product is sold, the duration of such implied warranty is limited to the duration of the limited warranty described in the first paragraph.

5. Manufacturer shall not be liable under any contract, negligence, strict liability or other legal or equitable theory for any direct, special, incidental or consequential damages, resulting from the use, misuse or inability to use the equipment, or arising out of any breach of this limited warranty, even if manufacturer has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The sole remedy for a breach of the foregoing limited warranty is replacement of the defective or non-conforming equipment or part. The maximum liability of manufacturer under this warranty is limited to the purchase price of the equipment covered by the warranty.

6. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from State to State. Manufacturer reserves the right to change or improve its products without any obligation to change or improve any Product previously manufactured by it.

GF Health Products, Inc. warrants a product when purchased new to be free from defect in materials, workmanship, and assembly for the time periods listed on each product.

Limited Warranty

If a product is deemed to be under warranty, GF Health Products, Inc. shall provide at its option, (1) replacement of any defective part or product or (2) a credit of the original selling price made to GF Health Products, Inc.’s initial customer.

The warranty does not include any labor charges incurred in replacement part(s) installation or any associated freight or shipping charges to GF Health Products, Inc.

The warranties contained herein contain all the representations and warranties with respect to the subject matter of this document, and supersede all prior negotiations, agreements and understandings with respect thereto. The recipient of this document hereby acknowledges and represents that it has not relied on any representation, assertion, guarantee, warranty collateral contract or other assurance, except those set out in this document.

LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS: The foregoing warranty shall not apply to serial numbered products if the serial number has been removed or defaced; products subjected to negligence, accident, improper operation, maintenance or storage. Damage caused by any events outside the control of GF Health Products, Inc., including, but not limited to:

  • Damage from carelessness, accidental damage, damage from sharp objects, tears, negligence (whether willful or not), tampering, damage from fire, damage occurring in transit after delivery by GF Health Products, Inc. or excessive wear and tear, including but not limited to the failure to follow cleaning instructions, use of inappropriate cleaning compounds and failure to ensure any product is thoroughly dried before turning or flipping over. 
  • Damage resulting from contamination following damage to the cover and failure to replace it, contamination due to incorrect storage or failure to inspect the interior of the mattress as stated herein, or damage due to unusual contamination or infection, spillage or staining, or use of abrasive, corrosive or any such similar damaging substance. 
  • Damage due to undertaking any action or procedure using the product outside its normal and intended use. 
  • Damage resulting from failure to replace damaged parts promptly or damage due to interior parts being used without a cover, being used with a damaged cover, or with the cover being incorrectly fitted, damage when any parts of the mattress are used as part of, or in conjunction with any other product or piece of equipment except as specifically provided by GF Health Products, Inc. 
  • Damage not proven to the satisfaction of GF Health Products, Inc. due to defective materials, workmanship or assembly, or products modified without GF Health Products, Inc. express written consent including, but not limited to modification through the use unauthorized parts or attachments or products damaged by reason of repairs made to any component without the specific consent of GF Health Products, Inc. 

The foregoing express warranty is exclusive and in lieu of any other express warranties whatsoever, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and the sole remedy for violations of any warranty whatsoever shall be limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the defective product pursuant to the terms contained herein. The application of any implied warranty whatsoever shall not extend beyond the duration of the express warranty provided herein. GF Health Products, Inc. shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages whatsoever and disclaims any liability beyond the intial purchase price of the mattress. This warranty shall be extended to comply with state/provinicial laws and requirements.

 

Karman Healthcare


Please refer to the warranty card attached to each product for more information on policies and procedures. The warranty is extended only to the original purchase and delivery of the product. Warranty is not transferable. Parts or materials which are subjected to normal wear and tear which must be replaced / repaired are the owner’s responsibility. Damaged caused by user negligence, accidental damages intentional or not are not covered under Factory warranty. Arm pad and upholsteries are not covered by warranty. It is recommended that any claims under warranty be returned to the authorized dealer for service through whom it was purchased from. If Warranty Registration Card is not on file for the claim product, then a copy of the invoice with the date of purchase must be provided. The warranty period for the consumer commences on the purchase date of the seller. The warranty period for the seller, if the products are not to be sold to a consumer, commences on the invoice date from Karman. The warranty is voice on wheelchairs that have had the serial # tag removed and/or altered. Furthermore, products which have been subjected to negligence, abuse, improper storage, or handling, improper operation, any modifications, misuse are not covered by the warranty. All warranty repairs or replacements must have prior authorization from Karman with freight prepaid. Karman reserves the right to issue call tags for any warranty repairs, which is situation dependent. Should a field action or recall occur. Karman will identify the affected units and contact your Karman dealer with instructions for resolution. Warranty registration are still advised. Limited Lifetime Warranty

Nova stands firm on its commitment to providing the highest quality products, as well as exceptional service. Nova products are built to precise standards and are thoroughly inspected prior to shipment.  The limited lifetime warranty represents the confidence in the materials and workmanship Nova places on its product.
Nova extends the limited lifetime warranty only to the original purchaser of the product, not to any subsequent purchaser or owner. The warranty is void upon any sale or transfer of ownership or use by another person. Nova warrants its products are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for the period commencing on the date of purchase and continuing for the following specified period of time after that date:

  • Metal frame: Limited Lifetime Warranty
  • Hand brake System: 5 Year Warranty (the hand brake system includes: brake housing, cable wire, brake handle) 
  • Non-Metal/Metal Parts: 1 Year Warranty (seat, wheels, hand grips, tips, height adjustment knob and screw, foam backrest, seat clips, dust caps, forks, cable cover, brake shoe, brake spring)

The limited lifetime warranty does not cover problems due to user negligence, misuse of the product, failure to adhere to product instructions, or normal wear and tear. Items that have been subject to negligent abuse or that have been modified without prior written authorization are not covered within the warranty.

For warranty service, please contact the dealer from whom you purchased your Nova product. Please do not return any products to our office without prior consent. Repair or replacement is the only remedy under this limited warranty.

The warranty does not include any labor or shipping charges incurred in replacement part installation or repair of product. The warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other expresses warranties, implied warranties, if any, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nova shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages.

Nova Product Warning

Failure to follow any or all safety instructions may result in serious injury or death. To ensure the highest degree of safety while using Nova products, please refer to your user guide and also abide by the following:

  • Do not exceed the weight capacity for any product.
  • Do notlet others use your products without having them contact their physician.
  • Do notself propel or scoot around while seated
  • Brakes must be in locked position before using the seat. Do not attempt to push or scoot 
  • yourself or ambulate in any way.
  • Do not use Nova products on stairs, escalators, moving sidewalks or any uneven surfaces.
  • Do not attempt to reach for items while seated on a rolling walker. This motion may cause a change in weight distribution and cause the walkerto tip or become unstable. 
  • Do not sit on a rolling walker while on an incline.
  • Do not use a rolling walker as a wheelchair or transport chair.
  • Do notremove any warning stickers.

To further ensure the highest degree of safety while using Nova products, please remember the following:

  • Periodically check leg and handle height adjustmentscrews to ensure they are secure.
  • Periodically check push buttons on legs and backrest to ensure they are engaged.
  • Read the user guidebook that was enclosed with the product upon purchase before operating or 
  • using any Nova product. Please also refer back to the user guide at any time if you have any 
  • questions.
  • Always contact your physician or therapist before product use to determine proper adjustment 
  • and usage.
  • The backrest of rolling walkersmust always be attached when in use; the backrest is not 
  • designed to support the entire weight of the user.
  • The rolling walker basket has a weight capacity of 10 lbs. Items should not hang over the top or 
  • front of the basket. 
  • Care should be taken to ensure that all height adjustment knobs, castors, or any other moving 
  • objects are in good working order before operating. 
  • Make sure the rolling walker frame is fully opened before use.

Probasics by PMI


Limited Warranty

 This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser/user of our products. This warranty gives you specific Legal rights and you may also have other legal rights which vary from state to state. PMI warrants the frame and Brakes to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for three (3) years, and all other components for one (1) year for the original purchaser. If within such warranty period any such product shall be proven to be defective, such product shall be repaired or replaced, at PMI’s option. This warranty does not include any labor or shipping 


Charges incurred in replacement part installation or repair of any such product. PMI’s sole obligation and your exclusive remedy under this warranty shall be limited to such repair and/or replacement. For warranty service, please contact the dealer from whom you purchased your Probasics by PMI product. PMI will issue a return authorization. The defective unit or parts must be returned for warranty inspection using the serial number, when applicable, as identification within thirty (30) days of return authorization date. DO NOT return products to our factory without our prior consent. C.O.D. shipments will be refused; please prepay shipping charges.

LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS: the warranty shall not apply to problems arising from normal wear or failure to adhere to the enclosed instructions. In addition, the foregoing warranty shall not apply to serial numbered products if the serial number has been removed or defaced; products subjected to negligence, accident, improper operation, maintenance or storage; or products modified without PMI’s express written consent including, but not limited to: modification through the use of unauthorized parts or attachments: products damaged by reason of repairs made to any component without the specific consent of PMI; products damaged by circumstances beyond PMI’s control; products repaired by anyone other than a PMI dealer, such evaluation shall be solely determined by PMI. The foregoing express warranty is exclusive and in lieu of any other express warranties whatsoever, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and the sole remedy for violations of any warranty whatsoever, shall be limited to repair or replacement of the defective product pursuant to the terms contained herein. The application of any implied warranty whatsoever shall not extend beyond the duration of the express warranty provided herein. Pmi shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages whatsoever. This warranty shall be extended to comply with state/provincial laws and requirements.

 

SR Smith


S.R. Smith, LLC warrants to the original retail purchaser that products manufactured by S.R. Smith, when properly assembled and installed in accordance with S.R. Smith's assembly and installation instructions, and properly used and maintained, shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of original manufacture except for the following items: wetdek™ (1 year) and poolsonix™ (2 years). The original retail purchaser must follow the procedure set forth below when submitting a warranty claim.  S.R. Smith will repair or replace, at its option, the product, and return it to the owner freight prepaid.  Determination of repair or replacement shall be solely at the discretion of S.R. Smith. Aquatic lift systems, components and batteries have a separate warranty, set forth below.

All Aquatic Lifting Systems have a three (3) year warranty on the frame, excluding the powder coated finish, which may become scratched with normal use. All electronic and motor components, with the exception of batteries, have a full two (2) year warranty. Within the warranty period, S.R.Smith will repair or replace any item deemed to be found defective. Lift batteries come with a one-year, pro-rated warranty. During the first 90 days of ownership, batteries will be covered 100%. If a battery failure occurs between day 91 and day 365, batteries are covered at 50% of the original cost. Normal maintenance and care of the unit, including charge of the battery when not in use is recommended. Do not store the unit, battery or components near or around chemicals.

S.R. Smith shall not be responsible for the cost of removal or replacement of any defective S.R. Smith product, nor for any other expenses or for damages which might be incurred in such removal and replacement. 

This warranty specifically excludes fading of materials, microbiological staining of diving boards or pool slides and rust or corrosion of any metallic products or parts.  Refer to S.R. Smith care and maintenance instructions for regular maintenance and cleaning of S.R. Smith Products.  Maintenance instructions can be found at the Care & Maintenance tab on this page.

This warranty relates only to defects in materials and workmanship and does not include damage or failure resulting from other causes, including, but not limited to Acts of God, misuse or abuse, accident or negligence, fire, improper assembly or installation, chipping or flaking of powder or vinyl coatings, or ice damage.  Damage induced by the improper use of chemicals is not covered by this warranty.  In the event that products are altered or repaired by anyone without the prior written approval of S.R. Smith, all warranties are void.

Important: weight limit on diving boards, jump boards, stands, slides, ladders and ladder steps shall be not more than 250 pounds. Exceptions: frontier iv board and base not more than 400 pounds. Turbotwister and typhoon slides not more than 275 pounds. Cyclone slide not more than 175 pounds.  Vortex slides not more than 325 pounds.

S.R. Smith shall not be liable for any consequential, special or incidental damages, including, but not limited to any damages for loss of use of pools or injury to person or property, and any claims therefore are hereby specifically disclaimed and excluded. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental, special or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which may vary from state to state. The warranty is extended to, and enforceable only by the original retail purchaser.

If any S.R. Smith products fail during the warranty period as a result of a defect in material or workmanship covered by this warranty, the original retail purchaser must notify S.R. Smith by using the Warranty Claim form, located on the Warranty Claim tab on this page.  This notice from the original retail purchaser must contain all pertinent product information as outlined in the warranty claim form.  S.R. Smith will determine if the product is to be returned to the factory or will ask that ( 1 ) the defective area and ( 2 ) the part of the product stamped with the serial number be removed and returned. Product pieces must be cleaned and returned freight prepaid to S.R. Smith's facility at either 1017 SW Berg Parkway, Canby, OR 97013 or 105 Challenger Drive, Portland, TN  37418 as determined by S.R.Smith.

The warranty set forth herein is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, which are hereby disclaimed and excluded, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose or use.

The sole and exclusive remedies for breach of any and all warranties with respect to the products shall be limited to repair or replacement at s.r. smith's designated factory or in place at s.r. smith's option.  In no event shall s.r. smith's liability exceed the entire amount paid to s.r. smith by the original purchaser for the failed or defective product.

In no event shall s.r. smith be liable for any incidental, consequential, special, indirect, punitive or exemplary damages or lost profits from any breach of this limited warranty or otherwise.

No representative of S.R. Smith, nor any of its agents, distributors or dealers has any authority to alter in any manner the terms of this warranty and S.R. Smith is not responsible for any undertaking, representation or warranty made by any other person beyond the warranty expressly set forth in this warranty.
